Volunteer We have eight local volunteers who work for us and who visit the sick and the orphans in the village every week. Some of them have to travel long distances on a daily basis and their help and dedication to us is very much appreciated. Since January 2008 and through out the year we have a number of volunteers come and join us and offer support to the children here at Orphan Care Malawi. Their help and interest in this project has been much appreciated and very helpful to us. We welcome any help offered to us from volunteers. As you can see from our numerous projects we have a need for volunteers from many backgrounds and with many skills. If you feel you have any skills or knowledge that would be of help to us, please do get in touch. Equally if you simply want to come and spend time with our children, giving them love and attention, this would be very much appreciated. As well as your offering so much to our children, they also have so much to offer you too. Rachel Murray a volunteer from the UK who spent one month with us wrote, "Working with Reverend Timothy, Christine and all the team at Orphan Care Malawi has been a truly inspirational and rewarding experience. I have such admiration for the hard work they put into all their projects, the love they show to all the children and the sheer determination they have to the continued development of ideas. They have achieved so much so far, but they want to achieve so much more and I have every confidence that they will do whatever they set out to. They need help though, so I am going to do my best to raise awareness for them so more people can come and see what fantastic work they do and help out wherever they can.
